Who We Are

The mission of the Hawaiʻi Arts Alliance is to enrich the cultural fabric of the Hawaiian Islands by fostering creativity, supporting arts education, and advocating on the importance of the arts in our communities. Founded in 1978, the Alliance has played a critical role in shaping arts education policies, supporting arts initiatives, and fostering collaborations between artists, educators, and community leaders. Through these efforts, the Alliance has consistently worked to highlight the value of the arts and champion causes that strengthen our communities.
