Andre Toribio Jr.
✨ Artist Spotlight: Andre Toribio, Jr.
From the Bronx to Honolulu, Andre Toribio, Jr.’s creative journey is rooted in exploration, storytelling, and a deep search for what “home” means. Now based in Hawai‘i, Andre is a student at Hawai‘i Pacific University and an active member of our local arts community—serving as Gallery Shop Manager at Downtown Art Center and Lead Coordinator for the HEART of Honolulu Festival.
Through his upcoming capstone exhibition, Journey To A Place Called Home, Andre brings together painting, drawing, poetry, and video to explore themes of spirituality, celestial space, and belonging. His work invites us to reflect on our own paths of discovery.
“There is no greater journey than the one of discovery.”
We’re honored to uplift artists like Andre who remind us that art is not just expression—it’s connection, reflection, and community. 💫
